Merlin has been frisky lately. He hasn't liked it when Sam picks up Holly Ramona. He pecked Sam's leg and flapped his wings. I think Merlin sees Sam as another rooster and is protecting his hen. I told Sam that one day he, too, will go through a period of real friskiness when he is emerging into manhood. I think I see glimpses of that already.
