Sam has solved it again! The color tiles are almost worn off already. I don't know anyone this intense...oh wait...maybe I do!
Loving the hydrangeas! Deb I hear you have some, too!
Waiting for Nana and PopPop to arrive!

Yay - they are HERE at long last!
Sam and PopPop practicing guitar.
Dave serving farm breakfast for all!
Thank you, honey!
Eagle likes the pancakes!

They were going so nuts at Bay Hay while Dave and his mom were trying to find some plants that I put them to work with my buddy Ed at the feed section. They easily hauled a 40 lb bag off the shelf and onto the cart to wait for the customer to pull up. Then they carried it to her truck. They LOVED the work.
The mobile coffee shop. This is how Dave entertained the boys earlier in the week when he had to make phone calls while I was in the doctor's office. Dave said it was madness in the truck. I could tell!
Chicken-proofing the garden before Tour de Coop! They did a great job.
Building a puzzle with Nana!
Harvesting potatoes!
Nana weeding!
Then mowing - it was an all hands evolution to get ready for hundreds of people to come to Tour de Coop and oogle chickens and gardens. :)
Playing "nose flutes"!
Letting chickens out for recess! See them run!
A pear tree grafted and molded to take this shape over 100 years. It's at Bainbridge Gardens.
Building a driftwood fort out at Fay Bainbridge!
Nana and PopPop enjoying some warm sunshine.

Nana getting some exercise with Ben!
Sam is really into puzzles - we got the one on the right for him to do after he zipped through a 100 pc puzzle with Nana and PopPop.
Richard has arrived! It's the day before Tour de Coop and he's installing a hand sanitizing station!
Thanks, Richard!
Getting ready to go to a retirement ceremony with my handsome husband.
Gail is not afraid to go get eggs, with her Merlin pole handy! Great job!
Ben telling Nana which eggs came from which hens.

Man time out on the deck.
Ben hiding in a box with Nana playing alongside while knitting a blanket for Sam.
It's their first day here I think!
Can you believe he fits in this small box? He loves a good "hide"!
Bill likes this - it is from Mahealani and lives in our kitchen.
Look what has been happening with this garden area! Amazing!

Bill and Gail helped Dave and I build hoops over the garden beds to keep the "bratties" out! Just in time for Tour de Coop!
Bill took pictures of the house to send to family back east.

Ben (4) and Sam (7) in their jammies :)
Breakfast with Randy and Krissy! This is Sam's guitar teacher and his wife.
Dave - you made an amazing breakfast!
Here's everyone playing and enjoying the sun after breakfast.
Randy is so much fun.
Ben playing the uke during the kanikapila.
More kanikapila!
Both boys just love him!
Thinking about a little cottage where the shed rests...what do you think? A bunkhouse/office.
Dave painting the bench a pretty color!
This is a hysterical 47 seconds of gardening with Ben...
Off to Seattle! Poor Nana and PopPop had to run for the ferry! It was the start of a good workout, hoofing it all over Seattle!
In Pike Place Market - it is so fun there, I always wish we had more time to shop, and more money to spend! It's unreal - the fresh fish and produce, and crafts!

These guys - Squirrel Butter - were a lot of fun! My favorite guy is on the left! He has red hair, too! I think we are related!
A video for Tim of Squirrel Butter!

I love these fashions - if I were to ever dress up!
On the monorail over to Seattle Center...
And UP ON THE SPACE NEEDLE! What a beautiful day! One of about 30 clear enough to see the far-off mountains.
I love those Olympics!
That is Mount Rainier - it's hulking presence above the clouds!
Looking WAY up at the top...650 feet up there!
Whoa!
They snap your picture REALLY quick on the way to the elevator - this is not bad considering we didn't have several minutes to cajole boys into nice looks!

Now we're at the Pacific Science Center - in the courtyard this 5000 lb granite stone is floating on a thin layer of water - you can spin it around fast!
A fountain where kids were romping. Sam and I took a spin around, hoping it didn't get us soaked!
This is really crazy - the lever below the bike keeps you balanced on a thin rail. I am challening some of my fears here - stiff as a BOARD going around this thing!
But Sam wanted me to do it since he didn't meet the 100lb weight requirement. Thanks for the picture, PopPop!
Ewww - roaches!
Walking back by the Pike Place market on the way to the ferry.
Dinner at Doc's on the waterfront afterwards - a welcome rest after a very busy day!

Cute boys! They hoofed it really well - big hikers.
At a road end with Nana, checking out crabs. She used to look under rocks as a kid, too.
Building a castle for a group of crabs. Sam loves to make little habitats for the families of crabs he catches!
At the Bloedel for a nice walk. Bill's cell phone camera does cool things because the lens is dirty - but I like the effect!
Some gnomes we found along the way!
A boardwalk and a man-eating plant, I think!
We love these hydrangeas!
Another restful spot.
Love this picture!

Ah- another successful egg harvesting outing!
Bill made this on a huge rock on their last night here. We really enjoyed your visit!
