P7230002 Holly and Sam fixing our vacuum - yay! P7230004 Preschool lesson of the day. Funny how I had an eye infection on this day, and the light reflected above looks like an eye. Why are there so many weird coincidences with me??? When we went to the market later, it was fun to pick out produce that would help our eyes. Also learned about the rods and the cones. And why night-vision goggles are red. Your rods are not sensitive to red light so it does not cause your eyes to lose their adjustment to vision in the dark. Cool, huh? Rods are most sensitive to green, cones most sensitive to red. Cones are what provide visual acuity, rods are for peripheral and night vision. P7240009 Pu'u Ohia...another great hike! P7240010
P7240015 We found another bunker! Great view of Diamond Head in the background! P7240017 We think the right size of group for a hike is however many you can fit on top of a bunker for a snack break. More than that might be a bit much! Unless you're at Bellows and wandering all over as a big gang :) P7240019 See my glasses? Totally not enjoying life with two red eyes. Have no idea what was up other than working too much and rubbing my eyes to focus! P7240022 Blowing his whistle...
P7240024 Cute pair, huh? Ben with his cold (which he still has over a week later!) and me with my eyes. P7240028 Gorgeous day, though. P7240031 White ginger smells lovely! P7240033
