1 Dave flies out for NY for a week tonight, but we carved out time this morning for a good hike. Mariner's Ridge in Hawaii Kai...great views!

4 It was so clear today we could see all the way to Maui and Molokai, and I'm wondering if I could even make out the Big Island in the distance.

7 Sam did so great on this trail - we haven't been up it for some months now, and it's amazing to see how sure-footed he is. He hiked right up at just about grown-up pace - my pace with Ben on my back, anyway.
