So nice to be home! Sam is pushing all our gear to the truck. Like his hat, too? You are probably wondering what all that is: 1 bed (for Ben, 23 lbs), 1 bag (with all our clothes and shoes - only 38 lbs), diapers (and in this bag was also my flask of bourbon, plus kayak straps to tie the stroller down to the minivan we shared for 6 hours earlier in the trip), boys' books (plus Halloween costumes, a Camelback for Ben, crazy squishy ball with rubbery hairs that was a real treat to zip up! etc), plus car seats. All that for 125 lbs total. We pack light so we can fit on any plane.
