Dave’s traditional mai tai recipe

Mom called to look for this recipe today, so I figured I should post it in our “recipe box”…

  • 2oz light rum
  • 1oz orange curacao
  • 1oz orgeat syrup
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Float dark rum on top 
  • Garnish with pineapple and cherry.
  • Use decent rum, such as Cruzan. Bacardi would be ok.
