[photopress:IMGP7439.JPG,thumb,thumb] we arrived about 6 hours ago to the warm welcome of our friends, Mike and Angel and their three boys, one of whom is camping out with friends so we can have his room 🙂 it was a wild start getting everything into the car at 4am (picture alli as tazmanian devil whirling around the house looking for things that she thought she lost but just couldn’t remember she’d already packed because we were out until midnight with our friends last night!). we dropped caff off to be shipped via cargo, dropped off a rented suv, and got to the gate on time. we were helped out by really nice people at every step, so the whole trip was really great. [photopress:IMGP7425.JPG,thumb,thumb] sam was an absolute doll and never fussed on the long flight. he took a swim and a nap when we arrived, and now we’re getting ready for dinner. funny anecdote – sam was so great on the plane that we didn’t know he’d gotten totally wet (it was too turbulent to change him at the end of the flight).
