On the first layover in Coronado, CA.

We had a very good (and long!) trip to NJ via San Diego, Ft. Worth, Norfolk (where we stayed with my friend April and her family) and then a drive up to NJ via DE where we got to see Dave’s Aunt Kate and Uncle John. They enjoyed meeting Ben and giving us a fabulous lunch break! We also enjoyed sharing a mutual love of Hawaiian folk music with Uncle John. Last night was our first night in NJ. The boys are sleeping better than I am! I was excited to finally be in one place for a few nights, so I’m still tired today. We’ll run some errands, return the rental car to McGuire AFB, see some friends we made on the last trip, and hang out with Dad. Should be better weather today – hopefully 60 and sunny?! Thanks to Dave and mom for praying that our trip would be uneventful – it was, other than the good stuff! Now we need to pray that Dave finds a flight east!
