It’s 8 a.m. in Hawaii on Monday, October 16, 2006 and I’m listening to Hawaiian radio via internet. The radio commentator mentioned power to Oahu came on shortly after 1 a.m. this morning except to some areas in the east — that’s roughly where Dave and Alli live. Weather is mild, some showers. Heavy traffic as people go to work, no more shaking has been noted, and all schools are open.
More later — maybe from Alli herself, when her power is restored!
hi oli and alli, thank you so much for the info, we were all concerned..that’s not supposed to happen in paradise!! i’m way behind in my email but not in my prayers for all of you….i had a nice time visiting patti in chicago..rick was in omaha for the week so we just hung out..went to a casino one day where i lost my shirt!! i hope all is back together now. just mother nature reminding who is in charge!!!..love to all xxxxxxg.g.
