Beachcombing – thinking we might find agate at AGATE PASS! Ben is throwing a rock into the water while the rest of us hunt for rocks. Later he discussed a detailed “technique” for making rocks colorful, bordering on “magic.” The technique goes like this: “Wash them off for 20 seconds, then wash them again, then put them in the shell to dry off for 16 minutes, then look at them.”
