Video: Flossing at the doctor’s office.

Sammy had a great time playing in the rain today! He kept getting his hands wet in a downpour off the roof and rubbing Gramma’s legs like he was giving her a massage! This was our second time this week to get caught in a downpour while out running. Fortunately this time I had the stroller cover and all the rain jackets handy. Sam just loved getting soaked as we ate lunch afterwards. The video is way too big to post but I may mail a CD to some of his most loyal fans with a collection of videos. The above picture is from lunch at the tide pools the other day. There were lots of little fish to watch since the tide was waning (they got caught in the water left behind). The movie is Sam flossing his teeth while awaiting his second HepA shot (no, it wasn’t Merck’s VAQTA unfortunately). He also really enjoyed putting lipstick on Gramma – you can imagine how she looked afterwards!

Does Sam enjoy coloring or crayons yet? There is talent in the blood it gets distributed either musically or artisticly. Is he ready for bruncle Steve to give him pointers about fishing? The other day I saw a palm frond on the road and decided that whenever the opportunity presents itself I will take pictures with many of them and start an album. Okay have a good day you’ze Guyz!

I can’t believe he’s 2 already!! I’m off to look for the other posts I’ve missed. I’m currently working on a “Catch Up” update for our website. I hope to finish it before Gwen’s 1 birthday!

It’s DAYS after the rain storm where Sammy hung out under the roof downpour at Kalapawai, filled his hands with the water and then rubbed gramma’s legs “like a massage” and we’ve finally figured out what he was demonstrating for us. It’s how “we” apply sunscreen!!! He’s done this several times since, on days with no rain. He just runs off a few feet and pretends he is getting the sunscreen, rubbing his hands together with the imaginary sunscreen, and then “applies” it to our legs, arms and faces! It’s SOOOOO VERY VERY CUTE!!!
