yesterday i went over to mom and pete’s to have dinner and play with sam before doing more cleaning here. i sat down to read with him and he couldn’t seem to get comfortable – then he had his first puke all over me!! did I say ALL OVER?! he is better today…today has been very busy and actually very loud – the screech of tape sealing boxes is echoing through the emptying house as I sit on hold with a phone on each ear trying to set up a new business in hawaii and figure out if the container holding our truck has hit the ground yet (it has!). i’m also getting pretty high on the smell of markers labelling the boxes.

gramma took great care of sammy last night, and pete has been loving him as if her were his own, checking in on him and reading to him. i am very lucky to have so much loving help!

off to check on the gang – it’s getting to the helter skelter portion of packing when very strange things happen…dave should be calling any minute, too! yeah!
