It was a super busy day around here today, so we decided to stick with the plan to go see the moonrise over the Mokulua islands as a way to unplug from it all for just an hour. It was a great time. Gramma brought ice cream sandwiches for the boys and we had our picnic on the beach. We got to see Liisa and Mikko-Dakota, and mom’s friends Suzi and Joanne. Some day we’ll manage to get wine to the beach, too, and feel somewhat relaxed 🙂 Maybe when moonrise falls on a weekend? Or the boys are in their 30s? At least I think we’re all on the mend now. And no one came into our room whispering “mommy, the bed is all wet!” with puke particles hanging from his hair and shirt…
