It sure looks like it! What do you think?

So…Dave and I were talking about products we wished we had as new parents. The “ready-for-anything” bag which is preloaded with sunscreen, swimmers, diapers, bag to put a dirty diaper in, snacks, dry clothes, goggles/snorkels, and a water reservoir. I keep such a bag in the hall closet because sometimes we like to head out in the morning on a Saturday with no idea what we might do. Dave crafts the itinerary as we go. It’s a lot of fun 🙂 The other product would be the “it’s all good” baby monitor. It wouldn’t have a red-alert bar that grows bigger and angrier with every decibel, it would be all green all the time, and the green would diminish as things heated up in the baby room. I’m traumatized by seeing a rapidly growing red bar on the monitor. I make Dave keep it with him even if I’m “on point” to deal with a crisis. I just don’t like it near me.

We went on our first date tonight – a full 2 hrs and 10 min! woo hoo! We went to the drug store for a few small items then out for a quick bite. Sam asked why we were going out on a date, and where and so on. I told him we like to go out and talk about grown-up things, then I said I’d tell him a secret. The truth is we really talk about him all the time! He liked knowing that. So tonight when we came home, he said he had been talking about ME while we were gone. I asked what he had said about me. He said “that you fart a LOT and that you burp a LOT!” Nice, huh? Thanks so much mom, for taking care of our boys!
