While Dave wrapped up a final exam today…we decided to grab some ice cream sandwiches and head to Lanikai for the harvest moonrise! Our intrepid adventure buddies were there for the fun. Sam and MD had a fantastic time romping in the calm, warm water as Liisa took pictures and I found a buddy to hold Ben while I threw the boys around 🙂 Mikko-Dakota would scamper off 20 yards then take a run at Sam, throwing himself on top of him. Sam would keep digging in the sand then just squeal as he got hit. The people watching the moon rise from their beach chairs really enjoyed the show. They commented on what a good sport Sam was getting hit repeatedly for about 20 min! Sam didn’t mind a bit – fortunately he’s big so I think it was just a tickle. I really enjoyed getting a chance to join in the fun, rolling around in the sand with them! We came home soaked and sandy, with broad smiles topping it all off.
