dinner with bryan was only the first in what will be a string of goodbyes that begins this month and stretches through our departure in July. since dave will be out to sea or away in school until the day we leave, we’re also trying to cram in all that’s left on our WA adventure wish list – the san juan islands, mountain biking, visiting family… we’ve known bryan since our submarine NR-1 days, or about 5 yrs. we followed him out to the aircraft carrier (USS John C Stennis) and we’re finally parting ways. bryan came over for grilled salmon pizza (fish from the now (in)famous Thanksgiving fishing flotilla!) and reminiscing about the old days about NR-1 before he heads off for a trip across the country back to FL. fair winds and following seas, byran!
