We had a great weekend getting the last gear and furniture we’d been looking for. Yesterday we got a square dining table and 8 chairs – a great deal from the Marine Corps Exchange. We were so lucky they found one last table in the warehouse, otherwise the wait was 4-6 MONTHS. There wasn’t another one like it anywhere on the island, and you certainly don’t want to pay for shipping from the mainland! Dave found a couple great accent pieces, too. Today we set out early for a hike but it was 90 degrees by 10am, and the hike we’d planned was all exposed. So what were we to do but go shopping for bikes! We finally got beach cruisers – we’d been looking for used bikes or cheap new ones and ended up getting a good deal on Trek cruisers. Dave put a bike seat on for Sam to ride along. We tested them out tonight…Movie: New beach cruiser! Sammy rides a bike on his 19month birthday.

We close on Tuesday and move in on Friday!
