Sam is on his way to his new school, just a 5 minute walk from home, door to door! We feel so blessed to be near one of the best schools around and have a wonderful new teacher. After Ben and I dropped him off, we busied ourselves with yucky errands - a dump run (more moving boxes), get new base decals for the truck, and warmer Fall clothes for Sam (which he'll refuse to wear). Why don't they want to wear long sleeves and pants? Don't they want to be warm? This was true in Hawaii, too. I think he just must run very warm compared to me. All that meat on him! I miss my Sam very much today but am so happy for him. I found a vintage school desk for his homework space (and Ben's "preschool" spot in the morning) at a consignment store. I am so psyched to give it to Sam in an hour!
