This first day is going so well! Jerry and Spring from Mayflower Moving are here packing and they really are very professional, labeling everything well, collecting nails and screws in the little baggies I gave them and taping them to the furniture they hold together/hang up, etc. They call this move to Hawaii “density packing” due to the space constraints on the island – they stuff drawers and shelves, versus emptying the contents into a box. I like this style – cram everything you can into a small space – I told them that’s how we like to live, so it’s perfect! Apparently this moving company is requested by admirals, so we really lucked out 🙂 I told them I’ll request that their boss send them to Hawaii to unpack us – they liked that idea. Then I suggested that since I’d just cleaned all the bathrooms, we have to go to the bathroom outside…they even went for that idea! Ha ha…of course I was kidding, but those of you who know me well have your doubts 🙂 I realized while cleaning the shower that the scrub brush works well on dirty feet, too, so I used the same scrub brush to clean my nasty “claws” as Dave calls them.
