we had a relaxing day today with the Uherek’s and are getting immersed in the island lifestyle 🙂Angel made sweet potato pancakes for breakfast (YUM!), we hung out by the pool, drove around to see our new place and planned a few adventures for the week to come. Mike, Angel and the kids are so welcoming and easy to hang out with – we are getting a great feel for the island life with them! Sam got to take a nap on a big boy bed (nothing to pen him in!) this morning, so while I was trying to get sam to stay IN bed (he had his butt on the bed but was reaching for books!), Angel was trying to get first-born OUT of bed! quite funny moment 😉 I really need to take a picture of this creature living behind their home by the canal – it looks like a chicken-duck cross, so we have called it “chuck.” caff would really like a piece of CHUCK. she survived her trip just fine, by the way. it was 85 when we landed – the max temp they’ll fly dogs. we got her in the skin of her doggie teeth!
