Eagle Harbor rendezvous

Getting ready to head out for a paddle on Eagle Harbor! This is our fourth outing - the fourth bay to explore. Just one more on my list. The sun decided to come out just as we launched. It was beautiful seeing the reflection of the sun and clouds in the glassy water. Lots of herons and other birds flying around. A seal popped up to check us out. I always get a little weirded out when they follow us, though. I'm afraid they'll just come up under me and huli us! We also popped in on Randy and Krissy at their boat - Sam's guitar teacher!

Yes…but the next day was the really interesting one. Maybe I should record that day for posterity? Meeting at Woodward at 10 am with STEM coord on measurement and evaluation, then to KidiMu which was really busy for a Sleeping Beauty event which wasn’t exactly what I imagined, then trapped in the rubber “dirt” digging area for far longer than I wanted to given how nice it was outside, then to the playground, also for far longer than the day really should have been allotted, then to T&C (market) then home and unpacked seconds before Sam arrived home, then “relax” for 22 min before heading out to PREP early to be oriented, then give an impromptu lesson on Angels as an intro while the real teacher was getting organized, then football with 12 boys and 3 girls (Sam’s PREP class) outside, then home for quick diinner, then guitar lesson…then finally bath/bed and beyond. Whew! I had to write everything on the white board so I wouldn’t miss a step.
