Brunch with a view

We decided to check out the Officers’ Club on the Kaneohe Marine Corps base by our home today for brunch. We were floored by the view of the golf course and ocean, mountains and islands. I think we even saw Maui in the distance. The food was outstanding, and even more amazing was the chance meeting we had with friends Nate, Laurie, daughter Cate and Laurie’s parents! They happened to come in the O Club right when we did and sat RIGHT NEXT to us! We’d been planning to get together but this worked out just as well :0 They will be joining us for Thanksgiving – we are so looking forward to having our friends and family with us.
Lots of work done on the yard today. We finally got the last of the plants in the bed by the deck, Dave put a border up around the bed, and hung some solar powered lanterns. It looks really great at night with the tiki torches burning. Good times…
And, I noticed Popr or Pop Pop’s sporting even more new duds! Very nice!
Nice to know the taxpayers money is hard at work.
my question is, am i going to see bill and gail again??how are we going to keep them in east meadow, once they,ve been in eden?? i,m sohappy for you all!! what a nice suprise to taslk to gail !!the pix of bill with sammy are priceless..the look on sams face is so cute..i hope the kyaking went well..nobody overboard..have a happy, happy thanksgiving!!! love, g.g.
