Move preparations underway, kids are out of school, roller hockey in full swing, and Wheat decides to go BROODY!
1 A flower given to me by Principal Belt last year has come back marvelously this spring. I love plants as thank-yous.

37 I learned Morse Code to do this. So cool. And I met a really neat lady...who now lives in Station S. Sarah - I miss you!
38 Treating Calvin's hurt foot. Poor guy. I can't believe he ripped a claw off and got his foot infected. He was near organ failure I think when I started treating him. In the midst of all the move prep, this was somewhat tempting to just let go the way of nature's intent. But I couldn't let him go without trying. And guess what? He hung in there with drop-by-drop nursing of antibiotic and foot dressings, and hand feeding, and separation from the flock so Gordon wouldn't hurt him.
39 Hi, buddy! Hang in there, dear boy!
40 He was gallant. Still is. Months later - Sept - he is doing better, thanks to a very good friend's efforts at being a vet!
41 The teens are having happy hour!

54 OMG this was funny. Trying NOT to laugh with three boys in RiteAid while you get your passport photos done is HARD! I look like a convict! I was finally like - "boys! Hit the candy aisle, buy all the Magic cards you want! Go for it! I just need 30 seconds here!"

104 Out on a jog with boys after school is out. This is a sock mace. We had so much fun whipping each other with is. I finally kept the sock mace and named it Isabelle because it looked like a cow (white with black spots). Always good to have an extra pair of socks around. Kids show up at games with slippers (flip flops) on and no socks...so...good to have backup!
