First day home is double-shaka good!
We hit the tide pools today – it’s 85 degrees, sunny, very little wind and glassy water. Absolutely gorgeous. Man, was it great to get toes in the sand again! We enjoyed visiting the mainland and traipsing through 6 states, but we do love it here. We’re not quite ready to leave…not just yet. I have sand on my toes, wearing a bikini (which matches the gorgeous necklace you gave me, Mary – I’ve worn it since the wedding!) and sipping a Dave mai tai. God bless and aloha!
I just got through the album of the last pictures, got back to the home page and there you are with your post for today’s adventure. Glad you made it safely. I got your text first thing this morning (I went to bed at 10:00pm with a last prayer) it was good to know you made it! That water and sky sure looks inviting… we have had rain & damp since Friday! You guys look happy to be home…!!! WE miss you and had great adventures.
