[photopress:gardens.jpg,thumb,thumb] [photopress:IMGP6755.JPG,thumb,thumb] [photopress:horsing_around.jpg,thumb,thumb] Mom, Sam and I shot up to Victoria, British Columbia, CA for an overnight trip to check out this beautiful city while Dave stayed home to concentrate on his studies for quals. We had a fantastic time! And as it turned out, we caught Victoria Day as well! That is, after we cleaned up two diapers – one on the ferry just as we pulled in (which leaked onto mommy) and one on the lawn in front of the famous Empress Hotel! Despite some showers, we managed to get a lot of sightseeing in, have some great food, catch the parade, Butchart Gardens and a tour of the city. Sammy really enjoyed hanging out in the hotel room, checking out all the drawers (especially interested in the mini-bar!) and cuddling with mommy and gramma this morning while reading the room service menu. We all liked room service! Thanks again, mom, for a great pre-birthday trip! Looking forward to the next adventure(s)!!!
