Two generations of mothering…

My mom is the best. I asked if she could just sit somewhere nearby and be my cupholder while I peeled Ben his orange. She said "Oh my, why don't I just stand right about here? Is that good?" We were laughing so hard that a lady who was visiting the island offered to take a picture.

She speaks Spanish and tried to show me a couple ways for the boys to learn rolling their "r"s as in perros, from a book they love.

Aloha Alli, Oli, Sam and Ben,

I am the Spanish-French lady who had the privileged to take the picture. It was very nice to meet you and enjoy this morning with you.

Dante and I hope Oli got to see her turtles and, Sam and Ben got their favorite juices.

    Mahalo,
    Vicky

What a fun title – Two Generations of Mothering – and it was a really nice day! I got a call from Alli saying she’d be at the tide pools which is a perfect place for me to kayak about a mile to meet her, and still be able to go a few more miles after she leaves to head home for Ben’s nap. Thanks for the fun, Alli!!!
