Ben’s birthday bash
Happy first birthday, Big Ben!
We went out to the sandbar today with a bunch of our friends to celebrate Ben’s first birthday (which was May 21, but I had the plague so we had to postpone). We had such a wonderful time playing in the sand, trying out the paddleboard and enjoying malassadas, champagne and finally cupcakes in ice cream cones. I’m about to go to the album, but first . . . that opening picture is ADORABLE! Ben has had a wonderful first year — he has wriggled, with ease, into everyone’s hearts, and that’s really saying something, because his big brother had already captured our hearts for four years! So, we’ve all had to enlarge our hearts, thanks to Benji. What a fun thing for us all!
